Dr. Henry Oghotuoma

Dr. Henry Oghotuoma, MBBS, MRCGP, CCFP, is an experienced Family Physician with a strong background in General Practice within the United Kingdom. He earned his medical degree in Nigeria before relocating to the UK to undertake postgraduate medical training and advance his clinical career.

He completed his GP Specialty Training through the Durham and Tees Valley GP Specialty Training Programme, where he gained extensive multidisciplinary experience across Geriatric Medicine, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Community Family Practice. Through both his training and clinical practice, Dr. Oghotuoma has developed a patient-centred approach rooted in evidence-based medicine, continuity of care, preventive healthcare, and holistic family medicine.

In addition to his work in General Practice, Dr. Oghotuoma served as a Senior House Officer in Orthopaedic Surgery within the NHS. This role enhanced his expertise in acute clinical assessment, musculoskeletal medicine, postoperative management, multidisciplinary teamwork, and the care of patients with complex medical and surgical needs across both hospital and community settings.

Dr. Oghotuoma has worked across several hospitals and GP practices throughout Northern England, providing comprehensive care to diverse patient populations. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, paediatrics, elderly care, musculoskeletal medicine, mental health, acute care medicine, and holistic family healthcare.

He is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and a certificant of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
